Bylaws<br />
Article I. Organizational Structure – General Level<br />
2. The Executive Committee shall consist of the following<br />
members:<br />
a. General Superintendent, chairman<br />
b. Executive Director of Discipleship Ministries<br />
c. Executive Director of Evangelism USA<br />
d. Executive Director of World Missions Ministries<br />
3. Method of Selection<br />
a. All members of the Executive Committee shall be<br />
elected by the General Conference for four-year terms.<br />
Elections will be by majority vote.<br />
b. Election of members of the Executive Committee shall<br />
be in the order listed above (Executive Directors in<br />
alphabetical order).<br />
c. No Executive Committee member shall serve more<br />
than two consecutive terms in any one office.<br />
1) An exception shall be that the General Conference<br />
may consider for nomination any Executive<br />
Committee member who is at the conclusion of two<br />
or more consecutive terms in the same office. A<br />
separate motion requiring a two-thirds majority<br />
ballot vote to pass may be offered to allow each<br />
such member to be nominated along with others for<br />
that same office. The election will be by majority<br />
vote.<br />
2) In the event a person fills the unexpired term of an<br />
Executive Committee member, it shall not prohibit<br />
that person from serving two full terms in that office<br />
if elected.<br />
d. A vacancy in the office of General Superintendent shall<br />
be declared by the Council of Bishops and filled by the<br />
Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee.<br />
