calcif is the program which interacts with calc/solve. A .calc file is<br />
the main input. calcif interacts with calc/solve via calc server (which<br />
may run on a separ<strong>at</strong>e machine). <strong>The</strong> three output files are all simple<br />
ASCII tables.<br />
• .uvw contains the UV coordin<strong>at</strong>es of the antennas for the dur<strong>at</strong>ion<br />
of the observ<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />
• .delay contains the geometric delay of each of the antennas for the<br />
dur<strong>at</strong>ion of the observ<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />
• .r<strong>at</strong>e contains a simple <strong>at</strong>mospheric model.<br />
<strong>The</strong> .r<strong>at</strong>e file is not used for the correl<strong>at</strong>ion but adds a table to the final<br />
fits file. <strong>The</strong> .uvw and .delay files are used by <strong>DiFX</strong>. All three are used<br />
by difx2fits.<br />

This program takes a variety of inputs, the most important being the<br />
correl<strong>at</strong>or output, and produces a fits-idi file.<br />
