8.1.2 Development Branch<br />
NRAO-<strong>DiFX</strong> 2.0<br />
At the same time we will install the development branch of the correl<strong>at</strong>or:<br />
NRAO-<strong>DiFX</strong> 2.0 [27, §2.4]. This will probably become the standard<br />
correl<strong>at</strong>or installed <strong>at</strong> all the sites currently using <strong>DiFX</strong>. This is largely<br />
because NRAO-<strong>DiFX</strong> 2.0 will use vex files making it comp<strong>at</strong>ible with the<br />
systems used in other institutes.<br />
8.1.3 Our Contribution<br />
At the last <strong>DiFX</strong> conference in Bonn we agreed to work on two aspects of<br />
NRAO-<strong>DiFX</strong> 2.0.<br />
Logging<br />
Adapting the python logging system to the st<strong>at</strong>us broadcast system<br />
(difxmessage) of NRAO-<strong>DiFX</strong> 1.1 [27, §10].<br />
Benchmarking<br />
Using pydifx, we will collabor<strong>at</strong>e with Cagliari to produce some benchmarking<br />
scripts for the software correl<strong>at</strong>or.<br />
