Overview on NTG 900 Series Systems
The NTG 900 Series IpChannel Bank is the
perfect business solution for all applications
that require 12 to 32 concurrent
analog voice/fax calls. The IpChannel
Bank transforms any PBX system, analog
call-centre application, or ISP MDU
service into a state-of-the-art packetvoice
system without requiring costly
equipment replacement or upgrades.
The NTG 900 Series supports key
industry-standard VoIP signalling
protocols such as SIP, H.323, and T.38
FAX Relay-plus FAX-bypass and modembypass.
This ensures interoperability with
the leading softswitches and VoIP
Services.
Built-in Quality of Service (QoS) features
include voice prioritisation and traffic
management via configurable servicepolicy
profiles.
Our advanced DownStreamQoS ensures
clear, uninterrupted voice - even over
best-effort networks such as the Internet.
Packet classification by using 802.1p,
TOS, and DiffServ makes integration with
existing managed QoS networks easy.
Create custom security profiles for a
comprehensive security environment.
IPSec in the NTG 900 Series delivers data
integrity, authentication, anti-replay and
data confidentiality. Firewall capabilities
include Access Control Lists (ACLs), IPaddress-
and port-filtering, protection
against Denial of Service (DoS) attacks,
and the use of a second Ethernet port as
DMZ.

The NTG 900 Series enables service
providers to use Frame-Relay or PPP sync
serial access lines— as well as broadband
lines —to integrate Internet, VPN, and
voice services (up to 32 analog telephone
lines).
The dual 10/100Base-TX LAN ports can be
used for LAN connectivity and a dedicated
VPN and DMZ connection.
The FXS ports connect to PBXs, keysystems
or handsets and are available for
local breakout or fallback to the PSTN.
