Digital Multi Channel Analyzer<br />
NEW<br />
The DT5780 is a complete digital system for X and Gamma ray spectroscopy.<br />
A compact, stand alone digital MCA houses a two channel, 14 bit, 100 MS/s digitizer<br />
(see Mod. DT5724A), two HV channels able to supply a bias voltage up to ±5 kV, 300 uA<br />
and two connectors for the power supply of preamplifiers and detector temperature<br />
readout.<br />
A cost effective and compact spectroscopy<br />
solution featuring <strong>CAEN</strong> HV, digitizer and<br />
digital Pulse Height Analysis.<br />
DT5780 relies on<br />
DPP-PHA, a dedicated<br />
firmware developed for<br />
Pulse Height Analysis.<br />
DPP-PHA performs an<br />
advanced on line Digital Pulse Processing allowing an effective data analysis even at<br />
high count rate, taking in account baseline restoration, ballistic deficit correction, pileup<br />
rejection and live correction of the Energy spectrum, allowing quantitative analysis<br />
even for sources with unsteady activities.<br />
Thanks to the two channels simultaneous acquisition, the module is able to manage<br />
coincidence and anti coincidence between a pair of detectors, allowing the user,<br />
for example, to easily take advantage of background rejection or anti-Compton<br />
techniques.<br />
The module is designed with sinchronization capabilities, allowing the customer to<br />
easily build multiboard systems.<br />
