Trouble Probable Cause Remedy<br />
Air Receiver<br />
pressure gauge<br />
indicating a higher<br />
than normal<br />
pressure.<br />
Pressure switch set too high.<br />
Line to pressure switch blocked.<br />
Pressure switch inoperative.<br />
Reset pressure switch.<br />
Remove line <strong>and</strong> clean.<br />
Replace pressure switch.<br />
Auto drain fails<br />
to dump while<br />
compressor is in<br />
<strong>operation</strong>.<br />
Check PLC program<br />
Check the setting on the timer <strong>and</strong><br />
reset (15 min. off <strong>and</strong> 6 sec. on.)<br />
Replace the drain timer.<br />
Auto drain leaks. Faulty seat or piston. Replace worn parts.<br />
Auto drain has<br />
continuous vent<br />
of air.<br />
Failed solenoid or timer.<br />
Worn seat or pistons in auto drain<br />
Check solenoid <strong>and</strong> replace body<br />
or coil.<br />
Service auto drain check <strong>and</strong><br />
replace seats or piston if leaking<br />
