Concept<br />

The K Premium loyalty card is designed to create, develop and<br />

retain a database of loyal card members who utilize all facilities<br />

at <strong>Kempinski</strong> Hotel Ajman.<br />

Additionally, the card will reward and recognize regular patrons<br />

of <strong>Kempinski</strong> Hotel Ajman with a frequent, comprehensive and<br />

competitive benefit scheme to ensure continued loyalty to the<br />

hotel and its facilities.<br />

Program Structure<br />

K Premium Loyalty Program works on a points’ based system<br />

which rewards members with various benefits, while offering a<br />

range of possibilities. This allows the hotel to recognize different<br />

types of customers with a more personalised approach which is<br />

designed to provide better experiences to loyal guests as<br />

K Premium members.<br />

Food & Beverage<br />

K Premium allows members to collect points on their<br />

membership accounts when using participating restaurants and<br />

bars at <strong>Kempinski</strong> Hotel Ajman. For every AED 10 a member<br />

spends, they will earn the equivalent of AED 1 in rewards.<br />

Point return is based on the total check, excluding all taxes and<br />

service charges, which is allowed for a maximum of ten (10)<br />

persons per check. Take Away orders cannot be used to avail<br />

K Premium benefits.<br />

Example – Total check at Sabella’s AED 1,496 - T&SC = AED 1,197<br />

Points earned 120 (equivalent of AED 120)<br />

Banquets & Events<br />

Food & Beverage rewards based on food and beverage<br />

consumption, as detailed above, can also be earned for functions<br />

and events for a maximum number of up to ten (10) pax held at<br />

<strong>Kempinski</strong> Hotel Ajman. The award points can only be given by<br />

prior function/event reservation.<br />

Example – Total check after banquet AED 3,795 - T&SC = AED 3,036<br />

Points earned 304 (equivalent of AED 304)<br />

Rooms<br />

For every AED 20 spent on rooms, members will earn the<br />

equivalent of AED 1 in points. This is based on room rate,<br />

excluding internet charges, mini bar consumption, all taxes and<br />

service charges. For guests staying in house, applicable food<br />

and beverage consumption in participating outlets will avail<br />

above equivalent points upon check out. This is applicable for a<br />

maximum number of 1 (plus 2) rooms’ reservation.<br />

Example – Total room check AED 2,890 - T&SC = AED 2,312<br />

Points earned 116 (equivalent of AED 116)<br />

Spa<br />

For every AED 10 spent on spa treatments, members will earn<br />

the equivalent of AED 1 in points. This is based on treatment<br />

rates excluding all taxes and service charges. Points cannot<br />

be earned on spa treatments that are part of a room package or<br />

purchased through any other type of discount or membership<br />

program. This is valid for a maximum number of 1 (plus 2)<br />

guests.<br />

Example – Total Spa check AED 680 - T&SC = AED 544<br />

Points earned 54 (equivalent of AED 54)<br />

Redemption of Points<br />

• Points earned can be used against services at all participating<br />

food and beverage outlets, banquets and events for up to 10<br />

people, room stays and spa treatments.<br />

• Points can be redeemed partially or in full against the price<br />

of aforementioned services.<br />

• K premium points can be used in combination with other<br />

accepted forms of payment such as cash or credit/debit card<br />

to settle charges.<br />

• Points will not be accepted as payment for past charges or<br />

used in conjunction with any other promotional campaign<br />

or loyalty program.<br />

• Points will only be accepted at participating outlets inside<br />

the hotel as listed above.<br />

Full Terms & Conditions<br />

Membership<br />

Only individuals are eligible to enroll in K Premium.<br />

Corporations, associations, guests booked through Travel Agents<br />

or groups are not eligible.<br />

Information provided to <strong>Kempinski</strong> Hotel Ajman at the time<br />

of enrolment by the individual member will be retained by<br />

the Hotel on a confidential database. However, it constitutes<br />

implied permission to the Hotel to send information on various<br />

promotions or events via e-mail/SMS to the cardholders.<br />

Membership Tier<br />

The membership status is valid for one (1) year and will be<br />

renewed on an annual basis.<br />

Lost cards or Theft of Membership cards<br />

In the event of any loss or theft of a Member’s K Premium card,<br />

the Member must notify <strong>Kempinski</strong> Hotel Ajman in writing<br />

together with his/her name, address and phone number.<br />

A duplicate card will be issued by the Hotel on a payment<br />

of AED 50. However, previously earned points cannot be<br />

reimbursed/redeemed.<br />

Earning Points<br />

K Premium is a loyalty programme that enables members<br />

to accumulate points on their membership accounts at the<br />

participating Outlets, Spas, Room stays and Banquet events at<br />

<strong>Kempinski</strong> Hotel Ajman. Members can earn 1 point<br />

(equivalent to AED 1) for every AED 10 spent (For example,<br />

every AED 100 spent, AED 10 is awarded as points).<br />

This is based on the total bill, excluding all taxes and service<br />

charges, and a maximum number of 10 pax per bill/per card is<br />

permissible for Food & Beverage awards, 1 (plus 2) rooms’<br />

reservation in case of Room stays’ awards and Spa awards.<br />

Members must present their K Premium card as soon as they<br />

enter the respective outlet to provide prior intimation to staff of<br />

the member’s arrival. Take Away orders cannot be used to avail<br />

K Premium benefits.<br />

Food & Beverage rewards/points, based on Food & Beverage<br />

consumption can also be accumulated by the members on<br />

functions and events held at <strong>Kempinski</strong> Hotel Ajman, with<br />

a limitation of a maximum number of 10 pax per event/per<br />

bill/per day. The award points can only be given during prior<br />

function/event reservation.<br />

Points can also be earned for Room stays. Members can earn<br />

1 point (equivalent to AED 1) for every AED 20 spent (For<br />

example, every AED 100 spent, AED 5 is awarded as points).<br />

This is based on your net room rate, excluding internet charges,<br />

mini bar consumption, taxes and service charges.<br />

K Premium card holders staying at the Hotel would accumulate<br />

K Premium Points on Food & Beverage consumption in<br />

participating outlets of the Hotel as applicable; 10% of net Food<br />

& Beverage Consumption as detailed above (Para 1, “Earning<br />

Points”). For in-house guests, applicable points to be awarded<br />

will only be given during the check out process, when the total<br />

bill for the room is posted and paid for.<br />

If a Member forgets to present the membership card at the point<br />

of service, he/she will not be able to collect the points.<br />

Rewards can only be earned for personal charges and cannot be<br />

earned when a bill is charged to a corporate account.<br />

Clients may be required to present a valid identification during<br />

award/redemption of points and should have signed their K<br />

Premium card prior to this.<br />

Redemptions<br />

Points can be redeemed at any of the participating outlets,<br />

banquet events and room nights at <strong>Kempinski</strong> Hotel Ajman<br />

upon presentation of a valid K Premium card to an extent of<br />

accumulated points or part of it.<br />

Points cannot be redeemed partly or fully in cash and also,<br />

cannot be redeemed against the following services:<br />

Room Service, Business Centre services, Laundry services, Internet charges,<br />

Mini Bar consumption or to settle annual Laguna membership fees.<br />

Rewards are valid only for the K Premium programme and<br />

cannot be combined with any other promotional campaign,<br />

loyalty or membership programme of <strong>Kempinski</strong> Hotel<br />

Ajman. This programme is a standalone Loyalty Programme<br />

by <strong>Kempinski</strong> Hotel Ajman, and not to collaborate with any<br />

<strong>Kempinski</strong> Hotel(s) worldwide or any existing <strong>Kempinski</strong><br />

membership, promotional campaign or loyalty programme.<br />

Clients may be required to present a valid identification during<br />

award/redemption of points.<br />

Validity of Membership card and Promotions<br />

<strong>Kempinski</strong> Hotel Ajman reserves the right to modify and/or<br />

amend the Terms & Conditions of membership without prior<br />

notice, and/or cancel any and all accumulated points.<br />

K Premium has no pre-determined term and will continue<br />

until such time that it is expressly aborted by <strong>Kempinski</strong> Hotel<br />

Ajman. Hereafter, all outstanding awards will be forfeited and<br />

the K Premium cards cancelled.<br />

If the K Premium card has not been used for a given notice period, <strong>Kempinski</strong> Hotel<br />

Ajman reserves the right not to renew or redeem the collected membership points.<br />

Withdrawal from Membership<br />

If a Member wishes to cancel/discontinue K Premium Card<br />

membership, the Member has to notify <strong>Kempinski</strong> Hotel Ajman<br />

in writing. Any cancellations/withdrawals are entertained<br />

by <strong>Kempinski</strong> Hotel Ajman only after a minimum period of<br />

1 month from the effective date of becoming a K Premium<br />

Member and the initial fee paid towards the card is forfeited<br />

upon cancellation/withdrawal of membership.<br />

All interpretations of benefits and program Terms & Conditions<br />

shall be at the sole discretion of <strong>Kempinski</strong> Hotel Ajman, and<br />

are subject to change without prior notice.<br />
