esityksistä kiinnostuneille, erityisesti uusille katsojille. Palvelu
saattaa toisilleen vieraita ihmisiä hetkellisiin kohtaamisiin
taiteen äärelle sekä synnyttää uutta puhetta esityksistä.
Escort-palvelu mahdollistaa esityksen katsomisen Kiasmateatterissa
“taide-escortina” toimivan esittävän taiteen ammattilaisen
seurassa. Alennushintainen lippu ja kuppi kahvia
kuuluvat hintaan. Katsojille palvelu toimii näin: Lähetä sähköpostia
osoitteeseen escort@kiasma.fi. Mainitse sähköpostissasi,
mitä esitystä olet tulossa katsomaan ja milloin. Sinulle
varataan lippu ja escort järjestetään paikalle. Mitä aikaisemmin
olet liikkeellä, sitä varmemmin palvelu pystytään järjestämään
toivomanasi aikana.
Tullessasi esitykseen lunasta lippu normaaliin tapaan

luona ennen esitystä. Esityksen katsomisen jälkeen siirrytte

The Escort Service is intended for anyone interested in Kiasma
Theatre productions, particularly first-time visitors. It is designed
to bring together strangers for a shared experience of art and to
spark fresh debate about what they have seen.
As part of the Escort Service, you will have the opportunity to
view a Kiasma Theatre production in the company of a performing
arts professional. The price includes a reduced price ticket
and a cup of coffee. To sign up, send an e-mail to escort@kiasma.
fi and include details of the show you would like to see and your
desired date. We will then book your ticket on your behalf and
arrange the date with your escort. When you arrive at Kiasma
on the day, please collect your ticket from Kiasma Info where
your “art escort” will be expecting you. When the performance is
finished, you will sit down together for a cup of coffee and a brief
discussion about what you have seen.

hän painottaa tekonsa olevan henkilökohtainen ja toivoo, ettei
tapahtunutta käytettäisi poliittisena lyömäaseena. Onko yksityinen
kuitenkin aina myös poliittista?
33 kierrosta ja jokunen sekunti (33 tours et quelques seconds) vie
katsojan keskelle nuoren miehen viimeisiä päiviä. Lavalla ei nähdä
näyttelijöitä, vaan Rabih Mrouén ja Lina Sanehin teatteritilaan lavastama
makuuhuone kertoo oman tarinansa. Huoneessa televisio,
kännykkä, tietokone ja Facebook jatkavat sankarin elämää, vaikka
tämä on jo kuollut.
Mroué ja Saneh ovat beirutilaisia kirjailijoita, ohjaajia ja näyttelijöitä,
jotka ovat teoksillaan tulleet tunnetuiksi ympäri maailman.
Parin kantaaottavat teokset tarttuvat nerokkaasti yhteiskunnallisiin
ongelmiin ja Lähi-idän poliittiseen tilanteeseen.

33 Rounds and a Few Seconds
A YOUNG LEBANESE MAN commits suicide. In his farewell letter, he says
his death is a purely personal act and should not be used for political
purposes. But is personal always political as well?
33 Rounds and a Few Seconds (33 tours et quelques secondes) invites
us to follow the final days of the young man. There are no actors on the
stage, however, but a bedroom, reconstructed by Rabih Mroué and Lina
Saneh, in which the young man’s television, mobile phone, computer
and Facebook page continue his life even after death.
The Beirut-based duo Mroué and Saneh work as writers, directors
and actors. They are known around the world for their works which
brilliantly address social problems and the political situation in the Near
East.
