RES PHARMA has developed a new series of products called RESPLANTA ® ,<br />

made of vegetal oils, tranformed into water soluble/dispersible oils through<br />

an exclusive trans-esterification process, which replaces a portion of the<br />

glycerin in the triglycerides fraction of the starting oil with an ethoxylated<br />

vegetal glycerin.<br />

This process, run under vacuum in a nitrogen atmosphere, produces stable<br />

products that are clear and transparent in appearance, with very low<br />

acidity and with the physical characteristics, such as form, greasiness,<br />

colour, smell and viscosity, typical of the starting oil.<br />

The key benefit of this production process is that it maintains intact the<br />

properties and fatty acid profile of the original oil. We have performed<br />

tests (available on request) that compare the fatty acid profile before and<br />

after the trans-esterification process.<br />

Further benefits include the fact that most of the products in the<br />

RESPLANTA ® range do not interfere with the foaming activity of surfactant<br />

systems, are not tested on animals, are classified as non-irritant according<br />

to ”IN VITRO” tests (details available on request) and are over 90%<br />

biodegradable.<br />
