Instructions:<br />

Building Permit Application, Metering Forms, and Permanent Connection Forms must be filled in.<br />

If the type of supply is temporary, Temporary Connection Forms and Metering Forms must be filled in.<br />

If there are individual meters to be provided for each unit in the project, developer shall arrange to procure,<br />

test and install the Electricity and Water meters for each unit as per <strong>Kahramaa</strong> technical standards and<br />

specifications and install under <strong>Kahramaa</strong> supervision.<br />

Application for Supply<br />

By signing this application form the Applicant applies to KAHRAMAA for the supply of power, water or other services<br />

as indicated in the information provided above.<br />

(Terms of Supply)<br />

All power and water provided to the Applicant by KAHRAMAA will be subject to the standard terms and conditions<br />

established by KAHRAMAA from time to time.<br />

KAHRAMAA has no obligation to supply power, water or other services to the Applicant, or assumes any obligation in<br />

relation to the same until such time as the Applicant enters into a supply agreement with KAHRAMAA. The Applicant<br />

will execute a supply agreement on terms to be agreed with KAHRAMAA as soon as practicable after it receives<br />

confirmation from KAHRAMAA that this application has been accepted and in any event within a period of three (3)<br />

months from that date, failing which KAHRAMAA may require the Applicant to lodge a new application for supply.<br />

If an applicant suspends or terminates his project after securing commitment to supply from KAHRAMAA through his<br />

application, then the applicant must notify KAHRAMAA immediately in writing of the suspension / cancellation. In this<br />

case the applicant is obliged to pay KAHRAMAA for any non recoverable costs and to take the responsibility for any<br />

commitments results from his suspension / cancellation decision”.<br />

(Other <strong>Services</strong>) All other services will be provided on separate terms to be agreed between KAHRAMAA and the<br />

Applicant.<br />

(Acknowledgments) The Applicant acknowledges that :<br />

it has or will in a timely manner obtain all necessary licenses and authorizations to enable it to undertake the<br />

Project;<br />

the application and information included in the application will be used by KAHRAMAA to operate and manage<br />

its product acquisition and delivery activities;<br />

supply will be subject to payment of tariffs, deposits, bonds and fees as determined by KAHRAMAA and that<br />

these are subject to change from time to time by KAHRAMAA at its sole discretion;<br />

KAHRAMAA may accept or reject any application in its absolute discretion and without providing reasons;<br />

should KAHRAMAA accept this application, it must execute a supply agreement with KAHRAMAA not less than<br />

three (3) years prior to the date of proposed first supply;<br />

it will within a period of thirty (30) days from the date that it receives confirmation from KAHRAMAA that this<br />

application has been accepted provide KAHRAMAA with an unconditional and irrevocable bank guarantee in the<br />

format set out in the attachment to this application in the amount required by KAHRAMAA;<br />

rules and regulations administered by KAHRAMAA shall govern the design, construction and, operation &<br />

maintenance of the Connection Equipment and that the Applicant shall abide by KAHRAMAA's wiring<br />

regulations, applicable KAHRAMAA Codes & regulations and rules related to design, construction, operation &<br />

maintenance of its internal network and that this shall be carried out under the supervision of a professional<br />

engineering consultant;<br />

non-payment of amounts due for the supply of power or water may result in KAHRAMAA issuing a notice of<br />

disconnection and failing payment of the overdue amounts within thirty (30) days suspension of supply; and
