Name : Lennart Luten
Why did you come to Singapore, and why did you decide
to join ADB?
I moved to Singapore with my girlfriend Zornica in August
of 2012. We chose this location as it sounded like a great
place for her to do her INSEAD MBA program, and for
me to gain more international working experience in
the energy (PM/BD) field (any tips, pointers or positions
would be most welcome). We love to travel, play sports
and network, and Singapore has made a great first

Why did you come to Singapore, and why did you decide
to join ADB?
In 2010 we were in Singapore for a short term
secondment and we got a great taste of Asia. When my
boyfriend, Jochem, got offered a permanent position
at Aon Singapore it didn’t take long to accept, even
though this meant giving up my great job as a banker at
Rabobank. Luckily, the banking business is booming in
Singapore and I’m always in for adventures, so I took my
chances. The main reason for joining ADB is meeting likeminded
people and, of course, finding a job!

Why did you come to Singapore, and why did you decide
to join ADB?
I came to Singapore as Regional Managing Director in Asia
for Aon GRIP Solutions. I have been with Aon since 2007.
In my previous role, I was managing various Aon GRIP
Solutions clients in Europe, the Middle East & Africa, while
also supporting GRIP Solutions operations in this region.
For me, membership of ADB combines ‘gezelligheid’,
keeping in touch with the Dutch and networking.

Why did you come to Singapore, and why did you decide
to join ADB?
We moved to Singapore at the end of March of this year.
Now finally everything is in place, I would like to expand
my network and meet new people. I joined my husband
for his job and I am looking for one here. Seems like a
good reason to join ADB!

Why did you come to Singapore, and why did you decide
to join ADB?
As a senior manager in Dutch hospitals, I was
responsible for a division (260 FTE) of several
departments, managing strategy, finance and HR, as
well as quantity and quality of daily processes. Also
project-leadership of organisation wide projects was
part of the job. I look forward to finding a new challenge
(full-time) in which I can contribute my knowledge of
hospital processes and/or my experience in managing
projects and businesses.
Name : Jolanda Hakvoort
Why did you come to Singapore, and why did you decide
to join ADB?
We moved to Singapore 2 months ago and are
enjoying the city already. Of course, we miss the
canals and the “gezelligheid” of Amsterdam, but we
feel quite at home already. I restarted my company
Marketingcommunication4you here, where I help
companies to export to Asia. In addition, I started
Unforgetty.com, where we are looking for talented
persons/ funtrepeneurs who want to organize
unforgettable activities. I am looking forward to meeting
new people for networking and nice conversations at ADB.
