PLACES OF LOOKOUTS BESKYDY MOUNTAINS
A special view of three states (Czech Republic, Slovakia
and Poland) is offered to tourists from the observation
tower at Velké Čantoryje (995 metres above sea level)
in the picturesque landscape of the Beskydy Mountains.
The tower is 29 metres high and there is an aerial cableway
to the peak of the mountain.

The most easterly located observation structure in our republic
is situated directly on the top of Kozubová Hill (981 metres
above sea level). This is the tower of St. Ann´s Chapel.
It is accessible to the public several times a year (e.g. on the
pilgrimage to St. Ann) and there is a fine view of the surroundings.

Okrouhlá (5 km west of Frýdek - Místek at the village
of Staříč).
A telecommunication tower was erected on Okrouhlá
Hill (373 metres above sea level) in 2002. There is
a beautiful view of both the agglomeration of the city of
Ostrava and the forested Beskydy Mountain Range from
a height of 30 metres.
