CLUB EVENTS FEBRUARY. 3 RD .
Pete & Ernie’s Questionable Car Cruise. A nice long cruise to the mountains and
beyond, some dodgy questions and multiple rigorous routes, culminating at the Imperial Hotel in
Murwillumbah for lunch. Bring your own morning tea as we will be stopping at Graceleigh Park at
Beechmont for a snack, pit stop and a regroup.
After morning tea we will follow the trip leaders up past Natural arch and through to our destination.
There will be trophies for those who get their questions correct and times closest to the ones on
Google maps. Approximate round trip of 300klms.
Meeting at Maccas in Bryants Rd. at 6.30 for those who want Brekkie, and leaving at 7.30am.

Drive, Springwood. Meals from $10:00, coffee and tea $1.00.
FRIDAY NIGHT DINNER : 8TH.
OUR FRIDAY NIGHT DINNER will be hosted by Nicky Hume. This event will be at the Grand View
Hotel at 49 North St, Cleveland, www.gvh.com.au.
WE WILL MEET at the old Clive Peters (opposite Hungry Jacks, Loganholme at 6:15 for a 6:30
departure. For those wishing to meet at the venue, Dinner is booked for 7:00 – 7:30 in the back
courtyard in the “Straddie Gazebo” and is booked under the name of the Qld Corvette Club. There
is plenty of parking either on the road or the public car park around the back of the hotel.
HSV CAR CLUB DISPLAY INVITATION: 17TH. The President
of the HSV Club Qld, has invited us to take part in a Motoring display at the Village Shopping
Centre, roof top parking area. The display will be sponsored by Zupps Holden and trophies will be
awarded to the classes that we nominate for the Corvettes. The shopping centre is just past Garden
City Shopping Centre, on the right heading to the city. See Chris Livermore for details.

CLUB EVENTS MARCH:
1St. FRIDAY NIGHT DINNER :
This dinner will be hosted by Doc & Trish. At this stage they are looking at the Pelicans Nest,
Seafood Restaurant, Wynnum. Details to be published later.
3rd: Sunshine Coast All Makes Car Show: This car show has been organised to help
support the “Beautiful You Cancer Charity” and as the title suggests is for all makes and years. The
show is at the University of the Sunshine Coast, 90 Sippy Downs Drv, Sippy Downs and starts at
8:30am. Cost is $25 to show your car and includes a breakfast voucher or $5 general entry.
Jaimes Pool will lead the event and will meet you at 7:15am at the Shell Nudgee Roadhouse for a
7:30am departure.
6th: Club meeting 7:30pm at the Springwood Bowls Club Cinderella Drive, Springwood.
Meals from $10:00.
9th :Phil & Glens Bogus Bowling Journey: This will be a family night out at Mt Warren
Lanes “Ten Pin Bowling”, 148 Mt Warren Blvd. The evening will include two games of Ten Pin
Bowls and a Hot Food platter will be provided with fries and chicken nuggets for the kids. Shoes
are available for hire and Drinks are available.
We will meet at the Old Clive Peters (opposite Hungry Jacks), Loganholme at 4:30pm for a 4:45pm
departure. Cost is $25 ($20 kids).
