cross-sensory exercises, outdoor field study, and simple take-home assignments.<br />

Learn to create simple family, travel, or special event videos. Understand<br />
basic digital camcorder operation. Develop theme and plan shot list to<br />
maintain story continuity. Practice beginning cinematography including<br />
composition, camera angles/moves, available lighting and sound. Gain<br />
knowledge of simple editing techniques. Briefly study movie development<br />
through PowerPoint presentations, demonstrations, simple take-home assignments<br />
and class outing to create a five-minute sample movie. Any digital<br />
camcorder, bring with manual to first class.<br />
Sculpture<br />
Clay must be purchased from the Palos Verdes Art Center at $10 a bag.<br />
Glazes and firings included in class fees.<br />
