Annex: Call tor candidates tor consultant services in the fjeld ot 'Construction Products'; 'Machinerv Satety' including 'Noise'; 'Medical Devices'; Pvrotechnics'j 'Packaging and Packaging Waste' The CEN-CENELEC Management Centre is looking for consultants in the fields of: Fields • 'Construction Products' (1) • 'Machinery Safety' (3) and 'Noise' (2) • 'Medical Devices' (2) • 'Pyrotechnics' (1) • 'Packaging and Packaging Waste' (1) Directive/Regulation (Regulation 30S/20ll/EU) (Directive 2006/42/EC) (Directives 90/38S/EEC, 93/42/EEC, 98/79/EEC) (Directive 2007/23/EC) (Directive 94/62/EC) to advise CEN and CENELEC Technical Bodies and their Working Groups on the coherence of the European Standards developed with the relevant EC Direetives/Regulations. Candidates are invited to submit their applications in an eleetronic format by 2012-10-15 to the following e-mail address: consultants@cencenelec.eu. Conditions The consultant shall: • have a thorough knowledge of the relevant European Union Directives/Regulations; • have extensive experience of the theoretical and practical aspects of the technologies covered by the relevant Direetives/Regulations; • have experience of the preparation, negotiation and adoption of legislative rules at national or preferably European Commission level for the fjelds indicated; • have detailed knowledge of and experience in the preparation and finalization of standards in these fields;
