In this session, you will learn what progression in yoga really<br />

means. See why longer practices requiring rigorous adjustments,<br />

or forcing oneself into difficult positions, are not the way to<br />

achieve the goal of a particular position. Learn how to progress<br />

your students in several arm-balancing poses, with ways to<br />

strengthen hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, and cervical regions<br />

using various interpretations and variations of yoga asanas.<br />

484 Schwinn ® Cycling: Release and Relieve<br />

for Cyclists WS<br />

Tension and discomfort can too often be the aftermath of a<br />

great ride. Not just for cyclists, this workshop pulls the best<br />

flexibility, relaxation and self-myofascial release techniques<br />

using easy-to-access equipment into simple sequences you<br />

can teach anywhere. Learn how to relieve the hips, back,<br />

shoulders and legs, rejuvenate the joints and restore maximal<br />

performance to a tight and tired body. This workshop includes<br />

a 30-minute cycling workout.<br />

individuals achieve success in the indoor<br />

a Sprinter—Integrating Running Technique<br />

Many trainers have clients that enjoy running as recreational and<br />

competitive activities. We often assume running is an innate skill,<br />

but oftentimes this is not the case. This practical presentation<br />

provides participants with a four-point coaching model that can<br />

be used to teach anyone how to optimize their running technique<br />

for improved performance. These technical guidelines are used<br />

by some of the top sprinters and endurance athletes in the world<br />

to reduce injuries and maximize performance outcomes.<br />
