Controlled nutrient release:
The nutrients are released out of the coated granules via diffusion influenced by moisture and
temperature.
The product lasts 5 - 6 months under temperate conditions.
Recommendations for application:
Basacote Plus 6 month (16-3.5-10) contains all nutrients required for healthy growth of plants. As a
result, additional fertiliser applications are not necessary. Mixing into substrate is recommended
directly before use (maximum storage time 10 days).
The amount of Basacote Plus 6 month (16-3.5-10) applied will vary according to usage pattern,
desired outcome and seasonal influences such as temperature and wet conditions but the below
rates are given as a guide. These recommendations are given as a practical guide to good
agronomic practice under most situations. Local agronomic conditions should also be taken into
account, as these may affect responsiveness of fertiliser application

The rates are based on potting media not containing added fertilisers and mature plants. One has to
account for nutrients in readymade potting media or soils. Half of the above rates are suggested for
young plants.

Storage Notes:
Store Basacote Plus 6 month (16-3.5-10) in a dry location protected from frost, heat and direct
sunlight.
