Interagency News: Discussion to possibly move the Interagency Council
Meetings. Possible new locations:
4-H Center (one vote)
- Plenty of parking and space
- Need set up and tear down assistance at each meeting
- Would not be available in July due to the fair
- Warm during the winter
- Able to sound system
- Power point presentations
- No internet service at this time
ROE #26 (zero votes)
- Very limited parking
- Internet availability
- Technology ready
- Conference room availability will be limited
McDonough County Health Department (majority rose hands)
- Can we rearrange chairs and expanding the room
- Need microphone if we stay at the Health Department
- Rotating schedule to set up and tear down each meeting
Community Room at City Hall (zero votes)
- Need to reserve each month
- Parking limitation
Wesley Methodist Church (Initially proposed today)
Wesley Methodist Church was contacted today after our meeting on the
possible move to their location:
The Interagency Council could meet there in their Lodge Parlor (lounge).
This room is permanently set up with tables and chairs. Parking would be
in the upper level (east side) of the church. There would be no charge
for the room. If they did have something scheduled for the lounge, the
