10. ISR subscription at PostFinance The PostFinance ISR accounts receivable solution (orange inpayment slip with reference number) is described in the “ISR Orange inpayment slip with reference number in CHF and in Euro manual”. This document may be downloaded from w ww.postfinance.ch/isr. The most important details are summarized below. 10.1 ISR subscriber number The ISR customer number comprises three numbers: • ISR code (01 for ISR in CHF, 03 for ISR in Euro) • Classification number • Check digit The check digit is calculated using the modulo 10 recursive method. The corresponding ISR number must be transmitted in the XML file under the “PaymentData” in the “ESRCustomerNr” field: 01-123456-1 The biller may use up to n ISR customer numbers for the e-bill service. Bills can only be delivered to PostFinance if the valid ISR customer number(s) is/are registered in the biller’s database. 5-digit ISR subscriber numbers can no longer be used for e-bill. 10.2 Reference number The reference number is numerical and either 16 or 27 digits long. It is defined by the biller and serves to identify the payment from the bill recipient or payer. The reference number must be transmitted in the XML file under the “PaymentData” in the “ESRReferenceNr” field as follows: 123456789012345678901234567 10.3 Delivery of incoming payment data The incoming payment data must be supplied according to the standard ISR service procedure as described in the manual.
