GOLF MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into on the date fully executed by and between the CITY OF BREMERTON a municipal corporation of the State of Washington hereinafter referred to as City and SCOTT ALEXANDER S GOLF SHOP INC a Washington Corporation hereinafter referred to as Contractor to provide professional golf management and services pursuant to this Agreement at the City of Bremerton Gold Mountain Golf Club WHEREAS the City is the owner of Gold Mountain Golf Club which ownership includes the land upon which said golf complex is located the buildings and other improvements which are a part thereof and WHEREAS the Gold Mountain Golf Club consists of one 18hole golf course known as Cascade Course one 18hole golf course known as the Olympic Course a driving range located adjacent to the Cascade Course Driving Range and the clubhouse containing a Pro Shop restaurant the Cascade room and the Olympic room Clubhouse and other related facilities and structures collectively also referred to herein as Golf Club WHEREAS the City desires to enter into a new Golf Management Agreement with Contractor for management of the Cascade and Olympic golf courses Clubhouse Driving Range and Pro Shop and for providing professional golf services and lessons to the facility said new agreement superseding the terms of all prior agreements and WHEREAS the parties hereto have also simultaneously executed a lease whereby Contractor leases the Clubhouse for operation of a Pro Shop restaurant which includes cart food and beverage services for the golf courses and golf cart service and further leases the Driving Range as well as a cart pad to operate Contractors private golf cart rental business Lease and WHEREAS it is the intent of this Agreement to have the Contractor provide management services to the Gold Mountain Golf Club in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement NOW THEREFORE in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein the parties agree as follows 1 PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION a The purpose of this Agreement is to establish a management services agreement whereby contractor will provide certain management and related services at Cityowned golf facilities This Agreement is not a lease nor does it create a leasehold interest other than similar property interest in Contractor to the City s facilities b Contractor will be responsible for performing all work and or services described herein The Contractor s performance will be monitored and reviewed by the City of Bremerton Director of Parks and Recreation or his or her designee hereinafter Director Contractor shall report directly to the Director and work closely with the Greens Superintendent Reports Page 1 of 16 GolfManagement Agreement
