APPROVE GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY<br />

FOR THE STORMWATER RETROFIT AND LID DEVELOPMENT PROJECT Larry<br />

Public Works<br />

Utilities summarized that the <strong>City</strong> Council on November 3 2010 by Resolution<br />

No 3125 authorized the negotiation <strong>of</strong> a grant agreement with the Washington State<br />

Department <strong>of</strong> Ecology DOE to provide the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Bremerton</strong> with<strong>13</strong>43 000 to construct<br />

various low impact development LID projects throughout central <strong>Bremerton</strong><br />

has been finalized <strong>and</strong> is ready for approval <strong>and</strong> signature<br />

The agreement<br />

05 58 52 Motion to approve grant agreement was made by Robinson <strong>and</strong> seconded by<br />

Brockus Discussion was then opened to the Council for their questions <strong>and</strong> comments<br />

Mrs Robinson asked if there was a schedule yet prepared for the planned public outreach<br />

Mr Matel stated that they are currently working on a schedule<br />

Mr pointed out that the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Bremerton</strong> is a leader when it comes to implementing<br />

LID techniques<br />

06 08 03 MSCU RobinsonBrockus Move to approve Grant Agreement G1100266 with the<br />

State <strong>of</strong> Washington Department <strong>of</strong> Ecology <strong>and</strong> authorize the Mayor to finalize <strong>and</strong> execute<br />
