the rails into the Mongolian steppes and Gobi desert, the Trans-Siberian<br />

journey offers a great opportunity to experience an unforgettable journey.<br />

First station is Moscow, where you will enjoy the life in a city imposinf and<br />

majestic to capitalism before boarding the Trans-Siberian train and passing<br />

by the Ural. Your journey will bring you to Irkutsk, the capital of Siberia,<br />

where you will spend time on the shores of the world’s largest and cleanest<br />

lake. Then you will continue to Ulan Bator, where you will expe rience<br />

the Nomadic life and sleep in a Yurt, and finally the train will take you to<br />

Beijing, the capital of the Chinese empire, where your journey ends.<br />

Day 1 Moscow • Arrival in Moscow. Transfer to your hotel. Dinner at<br />

Kalinka restaurant. (D) Accommodation: Cosmos Hotel for 2 nights<br />

Day 2 Moscow • Visit of Russia’s beautiful capital city, founded in<br />

1147, which includes the Red Square, the GUM Department Store,<br />

St. Basil Cathedral, Tverskaya, Sparrow Hill and Lubyanka Square<br />

(KGB building) and visit of Novodevichy Convent. Free time in the<br />

afternoon. (B)<br />

Day 3 Moscow • Transsiberian Journey • Today, tour within the<br />

walls of the Kremlin to see the former royal Residence of the Czars<br />

and main center of the Russian Orthodox faith. You will visit one<br />

cathedral and the Armoury Chamber. Free time until your transfer<br />

to the station for train #2 to Irkutsk at 11:45pm. Light dinner (lunch<br />

box) and overnight on board. (B/D)<br />

Days 4-6 Transsiberian train to Irkutsk. Meals and overnights on<br />

board. (B/L/D)<br />

Day 7 Irkutsk • Arrival in Irkutsk at 07:30am. City tour. Transfer to<br />

Listvyanka settlement with stop in Taltsy village for lunch and visit<br />

of open air Ethnographic museum. (B/L) Accommodation: Legend<br />

of Baikal Hotel<br />

Day 8 Irkutsk • Transsiberian Journey • Walking tour of Listvianka.<br />

Transfer to railway station. Departure for Ulan Bator by train #362<br />

at 09:50pm. Overnight on board. (B)<br />

Day 9 Transsiberian train to Ulan Bator (Mongolia). Overnight on<br />

board.<br />

Day 10 Ulan Bator • Terelj National Park • Arrival in Ulan Bator<br />

at 06:10am. Drive to Terelj National Park. Explore Turtle Rock and<br />

visit a nomadic family for lunch. Horse riding. Overnight in a yurt<br />

(nomad’s conical hut) camp. (B/L)<br />

Day 11 Terelj National Park • Ulan Bator • City tour including visits<br />

to the Gandan Monastery, Natural Museum, Bogd Khan Winter<br />

Palace, Zaisan Hill, Sukhabaator Square. Lunch included. (B/L)<br />

Accommodation:: Edelweiss Hotel<br />

Day 12 Ulan Bator • Beijing • In the morning transfer to railway<br />

station. Departure for Beijing by train #4 at 08:05am. Overnight on<br />

board (B)<br />

Day 13 Beijing • Arrival in Beijing at 02:04pm. Transfer to your<br />

hotel. Accommodation: Novotel Xin Qiao<br />

Day 14 Beijing • Breakfast. Transfer to the airport.<br />
