The Pusan Cemetery
I took these shots of the UN Cemetery overlooking the ocean in Pusan in October 1953. As I understand it, there were no U.S.
personnel buried there, and the upper level seemed to be for officers.
There may be Turkish grave markers in one photo, but I cannot be sure that is what they are. And, I am not sure if the cemetery
is still there or if the bodies were removed and sent home. Maybe some of our members can clear up these questions.
I served in Korea from October 1953 to March 1954 in various units of the 3rd TMRS Railway, mainly 765 TRSB and 724
TROB, between Pusan and Taegu.
