Entity Description:<br />

A road barrier is a point feature related to the restriction or control <strong>of</strong> access to a road segment<br />

or road network.<br />

Entity Attributes:<br />

FMF Object Id Integer (long) 13 Mandatory<br />

System generated identifier, unique at the appli<strong>ca</strong>tion level.<br />

Road Barrier Type Character (variable length string) 15 Mandatory<br />

The type <strong>of</strong> barrier restricting passage along the road.<br />

Meanings for selected permissible values: 'Berm' means berm and/or ditch; 'Water' means<br />

water crossing bridge or culvert removed.<br />

Road Barrier Group Character (variable length string) 80 Optional<br />

A user defined text string allowing the barrier to be assigned a group. [RD_BAR_GRP]<br />

This attribute <strong>ca</strong>n be used in combination with the Road Barrier Business Identifier to uniquely<br />

identify the barrier or to assign a group for selection, mapping and map labeling.<br />

Road Barrier Business Identifier Character (variable length string) 15<br />

Optional<br />

The business identifier for the road barrier.<br />

Combined with the Road Barrier Group, could create a unique identifier for an individual barrier.<br />
