The air we breathe is shared with every other living thing on the planet.
And we animals have a symbiotic relationship with the plant world.
By keeping forests and woodlands abundant, diverse and healthy, we
promote their ability to continue giving us oxygen, cleaning the air and
retaining carbon that otherwise heats up our atmosphere. And when
managed sustainably, these vast forests also provide food, recreation,
building materials and jobs.
