207 FD HOSP
‘207’ headed by CO marching
though the streets of Bury
receiving rapturous applause
from the local people.
ute during
parade
Left to Right: Cpl Yvonne Flanagan and SSgt Andrew Higgins with their medals.
I was
astonished
with the
reception. It
was really
heartwarming
warming to realise that so many
people thought enough of us to
come out and support us. I was
tremendously proud of all of my
soldiers during this deployment
and it has been a great honour
and privilege to have been the
CO of ‘207’ for the past three
years. I would therefore like
to thank everyone involved in
the unit for the support they
have given me throughout
my appointment. I have some
fond memories of the unit in
peacetime and on operations. I
shall certainly miss ‘207’ as it
has been a significant part of
my life both before and during
Command. I wish my successor
Col Kerry Trow and all unit
members all of the very best in
the future’
Maj Claire-Davis Griffiths with her family.
