A Resoundingly Successful Homecoming 2012
New York Chiropractic College played host
to friends, faculty, and former graduates
for a delightful weekend where people
danced, dined, re-connected and received top-notch
instruction.
Friday began with Dr. Teresa Hoban’s seminar on
public health and resources available to educate patient
populations. Dr. Sandra Hartwell led instruction
within the anatomy lab for practitioners. Dr. Louis
Lupinacci and Dr. Mariangela Penna offered strategies
for financial documentation.
On Friday evening, Ventosa Vineyards was the
place to gather for great food and lively conversation.
Dr. Frank Nicchi’s spoke to Standard Process’ longstanding
generous support for the College and unveiled
an artistic rendition of NYCC’s athletic center bearing
its new name, “The Standard Process Health and Fitness
Center.” A ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating

the official re-naming will take place at the Standard
Process Health and Fitness Center October 18.
During the balance of the weekend, such presentations
as Dr. Anthony Lisi’s discussion about chiropractic
and the Veteran’s Administration Healthcare
System, Dr. Elise Hewitt’s lecture on pediatric cases,
and Dr. David Seaman’s lively talk about inflammation,
kept everyone entertained, informed, and on their
toes. Saturday evening an Alumni-Student-Faculty
mixer took place in the North Dining Hall. And on
Sunday Dr. Lisa Bloom offered a well-received talk
on philosophy.
