prerequisite to Business
Sustainability was the theme
of this year’s Environment,
Health, Safety, Security and
Quality Assurance (EHSSQ)
Week. This year’s edition held on
Monday 13 through Thursday 16
July 2009 at the lagoon
restuarant, Victoria Island,
Lagos.
The programme highlighted a
number of events to increase
EHSSQ awareness, further
entrench its values and
sustainability amongst
employees, customers and other
stakeholders.
Highlights included the
presentation of ISO 9001:2000
Quality Management Certificate
Award to Oando Gas & Power,
as well as Corporate
Membership Certificate of the
Nigerian Conservation
Foundation.
This event also took place in all
major Oando locations across
the country- Lagos, Apapa,
Kaduna and Port Harcourt. At
these locations, talks were given
on various topics such as
Occupational Health, Security
and Environmental Awareness
issues.
