Oando at the 2009 OTC Conference
in Houston, Texas
Founded in 1969, the
Offshore Technology
Conference is the world’s
foremost event for the
development of offshore
resources in the fields of drilling,
exploration, production, and
environmental protection. OTC
is held annually at Reliant
Center in Houston. This year’s
edition was from May 4-7
2009.Oando PLC as a key
player in the oil and gas industry
graced the occasion with it’s
presence, exhibiting its product
and services in a double
decked stand which was
situated at the Petan Nigeria
section. This year’s technical
program offered special
sessions on significant industry
topics, such as the future of
petroleum, the potential of gas
hydrates as a future energy
source, and the challenges
facing the industry in meeting
increasing demand for energy,
The beautifully branded stand
was a beehive of activities as it
attracted top executives from
other sectors
We rounded off the conference
on an excellent note, with a
business cocktail party hosted
by the Group Chief Executive, Mr.
