ORTHOTICS DEPARTMENT
Royal Perth Hospital is seeking to appoint a suitable applicant to head the Orthotics Department and be
responsible for the routine management of a statewide service based at the Royal Perth (Rehabilitation)
Hospital, Shenton Park with a centre at the Princess Margaret Hospital for Children.
The Department is responsible for the manufacture and supply of orthotic appliances throughout
Western Australia including all the major teaching and government hospital-associated government
departments.
The successful applicant will direct the Orthotic Service—engage in orthotic duties relating to
prescription, measurement and fitting of orthoses— develop and implement teaching programmes.
The successful applicant will be suitably qualified in a relevant discipline with appropriate experience in
the manufacture and development of orthoses—senior organizational experience would be preferred.
ANNUAL SALARY:
In the salary range $20,000—$23,000 (Aust.) per annum depending on
qualifications and experience.
