What is the <strong>Summary</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Support</strong> <strong>Order</strong><br />

(SOSO)?<br />

It is a form that summarizes a child support<br />

order. It is completed and presented <strong>to</strong> the<br />

judge by the at<strong>to</strong>rney or non-represented party<br />

in the child support court action.<br />

Why does a SOSO have <strong>to</strong> be completed?<br />

State law requires that a SOSO be submitted <strong>to</strong><br />

the judge with all court orders which establish<br />

paternity or establish, modify or enforce a child<br />

support obligation when services are not being<br />

provided by <strong>Oklahoma</strong> Child <strong>Support</strong> Services.<br />

[43 O.S. §120] These are referred <strong>to</strong> as “Non<br />

IV-D” child support accounts.<br />

Is the SOSO form filed with the court?<br />

No. The form is mailed or faxed <strong>to</strong> the OCSS<br />

Central Case Registry at P.O. Box 248843,<br />
