When she launched her career in the real estate<br />

and finance industry in 1997, <strong>Mina</strong> <strong>Roditis</strong> knew<br />

from the onset that she had discovered her niche.<br />

Her background in math, paired with an easy and open<br />

communication style, allowed her to readily connect with<br />

a range of clients and to make a tangible difference in their<br />

lives. “I loved it from day one,” she recalls. “Fifteen years<br />

later, I’m still passionate about what I do.”<br />

Though recent market shifts had a tremendous impact<br />

on the lending industry, <strong>Mina</strong> has never relinquished her<br />

belief in the value of her profession. “Conditions may have<br />

changed the way we do business, but our ultimate goal is still<br />

to garner repeat and referral business, to continue to uphold<br />

our ethical standards, and to close successful transactions for<br />

satisfied customers,” she says. “At imortgage, this vision is<br />

what drives our philosophy and what motivates us on a daily<br />

basis.”<br />

<strong>Mina</strong>’s experience and knowledge allow her to tailor<br />

packages designed to meet the unique needs of her diverse<br />

clientele. She is thorough in her approach, delving beyond<br />

standard products into lesser-known options. “I care about<br />

the financial well-being of my clients,” she explains. “By<br />

familiarizing myself with a borrower’s current situation and<br />

understanding their long- and short-term goals, I’m better<br />

able to research and propose loan packages that will help<br />

them reach their objectives.”<br />

A problem solver by nature, <strong>Mina</strong> reveals that she enjoys<br />

the process of dissecting, then rebuilding a financial plan.<br />

Time invested early on, she notes, can save immeasurable<br />

frustration during the course of a transaction. “I like to<br />

do everything up front, to ensure that my clients are wellprepared<br />

for the process,” says <strong>Mina</strong>.<br />

Her client-centric approach has inspired <strong>Mina</strong> to contribute<br />

to imortgage’s exciting imortgage at Work program, which<br />

offers incentives and benefits designed to assist borrowers<br />

in the workforce. The program, which is coordinated with<br />

companies’ Human Resources departments, features reduced<br />

fees for specialty services including credit repair, notary,<br />

escrow and title, as well as enhanced borrower rebates. <strong>Mina</strong><br />

was instrumental in broadening the scope of the program; she<br />

worked directly with ancillary service providers to negotiate<br />

additional value to program participants. “I felt that, with the<br />

support of our industry partners, we could make imortgage at<br />

Work even more valuable,” she says.<br />

<strong>Mina</strong> works with a range of clients, from first-time borrowers<br />

to experienced investors. She lauds imortgage’s<br />

spectrum of products, which are designed to meet the<br />

needs of consumers, builders and developers. “We have a<br />

wonderful array of loans with competitive rates, traditional<br />

FHAs, conventional first- and second-mortgages, jumbo<br />

packages and down payment assistance programs,” she says.<br />

clients; we are constantly evolving and will continue to strive<br />

to serve as a trusted resource for our consumers and industry<br />

partners.”<br />

She appreciates the collegial support that is prevalent<br />

within imortgage, but <strong>Mina</strong> notes that she remains handson<br />

throughout the course of every transaction. “I have the<br />

utmost confidence in the efforts of my colleagues,” she<br />

explains. “Because my focus is on communication, I tend<br />

to stay involved with a loan every step of the way.” She<br />

updates pertinent parties consistently, answering questions<br />

and addressing concerns before they develop into issues that<br />

might impede a successful closing. “I enjoy the opportunity<br />

to be a part of the entire process,” says <strong>Mina</strong>. “It’s my<br />

chance to ensure that the transaction is a success.”<br />

<strong>Mina</strong> looks forward to continuing in her consultative role,<br />

and to assisting her clients in realizing their dreams of home<br />
