and policy in the provision <strong>of</strong> arts and<br />
culture opportunities in <strong>Oshawa</strong><br />
S TRATEGIES<br />
• Create an Arts & Culture Strategy Coordinator position<br />
• Undertake an audit <strong>of</strong> all <strong>City</strong> arts, culture and heritage resources and industries<br />
• Research funding sources for the development <strong>of</strong> an Arts & Culture Strategy and<br />
related initiatives<br />
• Undertake the development <strong>of</strong> a comprehensive Arts and Culture Strategy<br />
• Review the <strong>City</strong>’s role and services as per the Arts and Culture Strategy recommendations<br />
• <strong>City</strong> to develop ‘arts and culture’ policy as per the Arts and Culture Strategy recommendations<br />

Culture Council (OACC) to represent<br />
all aspects <strong>of</strong> art, culture and heritage<br />
and to work together on arts and<br />
