Welcome to Imagination Pre-
School! With over 30 years of
early childhood teaching experience,
owner and director Eileen
Hummel has created an innovative
and creative pre-school and
nursery program that has become
a treasured part, and memory
of, hundreds of toddlers and
their families as they begin their
journey to a lifetime of learning.
The philosophy at Imagination
Pre-school is that school should
be a pleasant and friendly place
for each and every child. Children
are eager to come to school
to learn and have fun. The happiness
and well being of your child
is the base from which each day
starts. Eileen and the Imagination
Pre-school staff, through the curriculum,
provide each student
with a positive self-image, encouraging
a strong beginning toward
independence. With this
base, your child will grow both
intellectually and socially.
At Imagination Pre-school, students
enjoy an active, fun-filled
day. Classroom activities vary depending
on the age of your child
and generally include, music,
arts and crafts, story time, cooking,
language arts, computer

skills and science units. Classrooms
are also designed to develop
fine motor skills and
introduce science through the
use of learning centers. Among
the science units, your child will
discover the five senses, wind
and air, good health, the wonder
of mother nature, animals and
much more. Field trips as well as
visits from child friendly animals
are scheduled throughout the
year to enhance the learning experience.
Students are enthused
and excited and this is a much
loved part of your child’s preschool
experience. In addition,
holiday parties and parades
along with theme days are
planned and looked forward to
several times during each school
year.
The staff at Imagination Pre-
School is carefully selected and
includes experienced early education
teachers. The entire staff
regularly attends CPR and first
aid training classes. Communication
between parents and teachers
is on-going and information
is sent home on a regular basis,
describing the activities taking
place in the classroom as well as
upcoming events. Parents may
speak with their child’s teacher at
any time and
parent conferences
are
held each
spring.
Classes
are offered
for Toddlers
(age 2), three
year olds
and four
year olds.

fourth and
fifth day is
offered to
any child

Classes. These Pre-K Enrichment
Classes are offered Tuesday and
Thursday. They also offer a fiveday
Four Year Old Class. In addition
Music and Gym classes are
offered to students that are in the
three and Four Year Old Classes.
The school year, including all
holidays and breaks, follows the
local school district calendar.
The summer programs for boys
and girls aged 3-5 is held for five
weeks, beginning in July running
through mid-August. You may
choose from 2 to 5 days per
week. This is a flexible program
– campers do not have to attend
consecutive weeks, allowing the
program to accommodate your
travel and vacation plans. The
program provides many outdoor
activities along with air conditioned
rooms and a daily snack.
A girls summer program is offered
for girls ages 5 to 8. Both
summer programs fill up quickly
