President’s Report
Well another three months has passed
so quickly with a huge amount of work
being undertaken by the Board.
Many of you will have foals on the
ground and they will be growing fast
and keeping you all on your toes, no
Pam Simpson doubt. At the last Board meeting we
implemented a scheme for you to register
not only your young foals, but also your older horses
that may not already been registered.You can register these
for a reduced cost until March 2011. So if you have any
horses out in the back paddock that have been overlooked
in the past, go take your photos and complete the necessary
paperwork and send it in. Visit the website for more details.
Points have been a contentious issue with me for
some time. I am sure most of you will realise that
the job of inputting these for nearly ten months of
showing is no easy task. I have spent many nights and
weekends getting these entered. I have also had them
audited prior to the final Honour Roll going up on the
net. I am aware that some of you still have issues with
the points however there comes a time, when we
must put the past in the past and move
into the current season. If we don’t we will never get 2009-
2010 season completed and this will be reflected in the
current years points also. This is not going to happen as
the points for 2009-2010 high points have been finalised.
The current seasons points are up to date and there is an
current honour roll listing in on the website.
I am also currently progressing the 2011 National Show.
The program is finalised and there is a separate article in
this edition on the show. There are many new events and
features, so I am hoping this show will be the greatest
Nationals the PHAA has experienced.
I would also like to introduce our newest member of staff.
Regina Batten commenced in mid October and is settling
in well.
I would also like to take this opportunity to wish you
all the best of luck for the festive season and the new
year. May 2011 bring you more joy and success for
