the PHAA is seeking sponsorship for the upcoming 2011<br />
National Championships<br />
Following the news of Chris' ill health the Board of Directors<br />
approached me with the request to coordinate 2011 National<br />
Championship efforts. I've hit the ground running and have confirmed<br />
several major sponsors including the American Paint Horse<br />
Association and Omega Feeds who are naming rights sponsors<br />
of the 'Omega Feeds 2011 PHAA National Championship High<br />
Point Awards'.<br />

Company Secretary Report<br />
Reminders: Our AGM will be held during the National Show at<br />
Tamworth in the first week of March, so requests for Directors’<br />
Nominations and Notices of Motion will be sent out to all members<br />
before Christmas. It is a very difficult and busy time of the<br />
year to be having to remember this stuff, but you will need to<br />
have them back to the office no later than 15th January. All Directors<br />
will be standing down at this election so nominations<br />
will be called for all seven positions.<br />
The office has been asked to get tough with paperwork that is<br />
not up to scratch. Please make sure you read the instructions and<br />
requirements when submitting paperwork.We as an association<br />
are obliged to uphold and enforce the rules – incomplete or incorrect<br />
paperwork takes up huge amounts of the girls’ time and<br />
costs the association a lot of time and money.<br />
Know the rules. Recently a number of members have found<br />
themselves in difficulties because they don’t know the rules or<br />
have been given misleading advice from other members. I would<br />
encourage everyone to take the time to actually read the rule<br />
book! You will be amazed what you find in there that is helpful.<br />

Welcome to our new staff member,<br />
Regina. Regina is settling in well to her<br />
new job, she comes from a farming and<br />
cattle showing background so has only<br />
needed a small change of direction to<br />
Sally McPhee adapt to paint horses! The office is now<br />
fully staffed and functioning well. And<br />
telephone hours have returned to 9.00 am to 4.30 pm, Monday<br />
to Friday.<br />
Finally MERRY CHRISTMAS to all our members and I look<br />
forward to seeing many of you at the Nationals in March.<br />

REMINDER:<br />
SUSPENSION NOTICE:The stallion status of DMB First Strike has been suspended until such time<br />
that paperwork administration matters are resolved. Foals by DMB First Strike cannot be registered<br />
until the suspension has been lifted.<br />
AGM DATE: The 2011 PHAA AGM will be held at the National Show on Saturday the 5th March 2011.<br />
THE 3RD FUTURITY PAYMENTS ARE DUE by the 2nd of January 2011 and the 4th (final) payment must be paid<br />
by the 1st of February 2011.<br />
THE 2011 NATIONAL SHOW will be held from the 3rd to the 9th of March at Aelec Complex in Tamworth, NSW.<br />

SHOWING UNREGISTERED HORSES: It has come to our knowledge that there are horses being shown that are not registered<br />
or are listed as registration pending. Rule 210 states that all horses entered into approved shows must be registered. If<br />
a horse is unregistered and is shown at an approved show, the owner and/or exhibitor may be suspended from the association.<br />
If you are a show organiser please be aware of this rule.<br />
