TRANS – Use this field to indicate if the student will require transportation. Schools can leave this field
blank for students that will not require transportation for the summer. For students requiring
specialized transportation indicate an “E” in the summer transportation field. ESE Contacts will need
to follow this up by submitting form PBSD 1848 to the transportation department. Students NOT
requiring specialized transportation will be transported by the “General Route”. Indicate these ESE
students with a “Y” not an “E”.

Not being used this summer. 8th grade students will be enrolled in high school courses with a
companion field of “8”.
QUICK ENTRY SCREEN - E07 – Miscellaneous Demographics
This screen was developed to help schools enter the summer school fields quickly. From this screen
schools can look for a specific student by name, by grade level, by homeroom, by gender or by race.
Once on the E07 screen, Enter Mode Q for Query and SUMR in the Elem. Code: field, and the school
number in the school field then hit the enter key.
SITE field – This is where schools will indicate the 4 digit summer school number.
PT field - Although it actually looks like one field on this screen. It is two fields. The first slot is where
schools will indicate the program/reason the student will be attending summer school. The second slot
of that field is where schools will indicate transportation with a Blank, Y or E.
SUM field – Not being used this summer, leave the field blank.
GR8 field – Not being used this summer, leave the field blank.
