2.1 Education: There are 3 primary schools in this ward known as: Bonwei,<br />

Munyati Zesa, Sherwood Park. The schools were established in 1984, 1956 and 1980<br />

respectively. All the schools have got a high number of trained teachers. All the schools<br />

in ward 1 are owned by council and do not experience hot seating. There is 1 secondary<br />

school in the ward known as Munyati Zesa. The school is owned by council and <strong>has</strong> got a<br />

total enrolment of 348 and 16 teachers. The school was established in 1987 and is helping<br />

in enrolling the pupils who complete their primary school education in the ward.<br />

2.2 Health Facilities: There are 2 health facilities in the ward. These are Sherwood<br />

and Munyati clinic. Sherwood clinic <strong>has</strong> got 2 general beds at its disposal. The clinic is<br />

manned by 2 nurses and is owned by council. Munyati clinic is privately-owned and is<br />

manned by 4 nurses. The facility <strong>has</strong> 2 general beds at its disposal.<br />

3.0 Ward 2<br />

The ward is characterised by 2 primary schools, no secondary schools and 1 clinic.<br />

3.1 Education: The primary schools in the ward are Chimwaoga and Sebakwe. All<br />

the primary schools in ward 2 do not experience hot seating and were established in 1982<br />

and 1968. Both primary schools are owned by council and the greater number of teachers<br />

at all the schools are qualified a good development to the education system in the ward.<br />

There are no secondary schools in the ward and there is need for the authorities to<br />

establish at least 1 secondary school to cater for the pupils who complete their primary<br />

education in the ward.<br />

3.2 Health Facilities: There is one health facility in ward 3 known as Sebakwe This<br />

clinic is manned by 1 nurse and <strong>has</strong> 2 general beds at its disposal. Sebakwe clinic is<br />

council owned and is critical in the health delivery system in the ward.<br />
