At the end of 2010, Parsons Brinckerhoff in the UK had a total workforce of 2,583 staff. The
total number of employees (headcount) increased by 596, which represents a rise of 30% on
2009 staffing levels; the number of FTEs increased by 267, or 17%. Around half of this
increase was due to the merger of Balfour Beatty Workplace staff with Parsons Brinckerhoff;
the remainder was due to organic growth.
