Setting Up the <strong>Laser</strong> System 4.1<br />
Setting up the laser in manual mode 41.1<br />
1. Press the manual mode button (μ) on<br />
the laser or radio remote control.<br />
Note – When manual mode is<br />
activated, the laser’s status LED<br />
flashes red at a 1-Hz rate and<br />
scrolling horizontal segments appear<br />
in the laser’s LCDs. If you are using<br />
a two-way radio remote control,<br />
“Manual Mode” also appears in the<br />
radio remote control’s LCD.<br />
2. To adjust the laser in the 1 axis so<br />
that the laser beam matches the<br />
desired grade, use the up (υ) and<br />
down (δ) buttons on the laser or<br />
radio remote control.<br />
3. To adjust the laser in the 2 axis so<br />
that the laser beam matches the<br />
desired grade, use the up and down<br />
buttons on the laser or the left (ν)<br />
and right (σ) buttons on the radio<br />
remote control.<br />
4. To resume automatic self-leveling<br />
mode, press the manual button on<br />
the laser or radio remote control<br />
again.<br />
