Veerapan and 3 others
18 October 2004

Special Task Force (STF) officers killed Mr. Veerapan and his three associates in an
encounter on the night of 18 October 2004.
doctors were forced to conduct the examinations in the presence of the police and
STF officers who were involved in the encounter.
killed in an alleged encounter by the Joint Special Task Force (JSTF) and Veerappan’s
gang.
