the physician group, elmhurst emergency medical services, ltd., has pledged $100,000
to the new hospital, in addition to giving as individuals and providing leadership

They see patients at vulnerable times, times that cannot be
planned for and often are not prepared for. They see it all,
treat it all and at the end of the day try and leave it all as they
walk out the emergency room doors. But something brings them
back — back for committee meetings and events on their days
off, back for commitments made both as a group and as
individuals. As Medical Director of Emergency Services, this
selfless giving makes Dr. Fred Jacobs proud. As a longtime
supporter of the Foundation, he understands that in giving,
you also receive … and that’s a win-win for everyone.
