We’ve also been fortunate enough to welcome to our Physical Preparation team, Nathan Skewes (Exercise Rehabilitation) and, starting in
It has been a smooth start to technical training this term with our
largest squad in the sports academy ever assembled, with over 60
boys involved.
We have been capably led by Leon Harris and Mitch Hahn and this
year we have split the group into three separate training groups,
the Senior/advanced, the Intermediate and Junior group. All
three groups have approximately 20 boys however to promote
development we haven’t limited any boys advancement- it’s all
about skill, attitude and consistent attendance.
It has been extremely pleasing to see both “PJ” and Pete handle
ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT & SPORTING EXCELLENCE
The ADP staff wish all the students a
good holiday and hope to see them in
the gym during the holidays.
Nat Gilbert & Leigh Holmes
ADP Coordinators
the workload in the senior group given they are both in year 9.
Last week they were joined by two other year 9 boys Dillon and
Sean, Well done lads!
Another new initiative this year has been the “top trainer” singlet
and we have handed them out to the player most committed to
improving himself. We hope they will set the standard for others
to follow. That Bulldogs training singlet is to be worn by the boys
over their jumpers and should be an honour for the boys to hang
on to. This term, they have been presented to Dylan Sloman, Ben
Forbes and Darcy Wilson.
