Matthew D. Loeb was elected by the IATSE’s board to assume the role of president. Craig Carlson has been elected vice president. Short had been a member of IATSE for over 40 years and an elected official for the past 21 years. Loeb served as IATSE’s International Representative in June, 1994 and as IATSE’s first division director of Motion Picture and Television Production. He was elected International Vice President in 2002 and 2004 and had served as the chairman of IATSE’s East Coast Council for more than 14 years. Carlson, who started out as a third-generation stagehand with Chicago’s Lyric Opera in 1979, assumes the position that Loeb had held with the organization. J. R. Clancy has added two dealer project managers and a technical designer at its corporate headquarters. Geoff Stock and Bridget Cox join the <strong>com</strong>pany as dealer project managers. Stock is formerly a project manager with Grand Stage Company. He will oversee the in-house <strong>com</strong>pletion of dealer projects.
