2.4 To improve the capabilities of IDIAP Jordi Gol researchers<br />
a. To achieve the accreditation of IDIAP Jordi Gol as a university research institute.<br />
b. To define levels of competence for research personnel with different degrees of experience (initial,<br />
medium, expert) in order to adapt activities for continual professional development.<br />
c. To improve expertise by means of a plan for the continued training of researchers.<br />
d. To solicit grants to promote the movement of researchers to first-rank national and international<br />
centres in order to develop their expertise, establish relations with other groups and participate in<br />
research projects.<br />
2.5 To increase the number of research partnerships and collaborations<br />
a. To encourage cooperation with health organisations in other care areas, the Catalan Health Research<br />
Institutes and the public entities of the Generalitat for the development of joint research projects.<br />
b. To encourage cooperation with other Spanish, European and international research institutions which<br />
allow participation in leading networks and joint development of international projects.<br />
c. To encourage the cooperation with other health sector companies (public or private) for carrying out<br />
clinical trials of drugs or other kinds of innovation.<br />
