ON THE COVER: Tim Kelly created “A Three
Cord Strand” at the end of these sisters’ portrait
session. He’d already captured the mid-key
images for the commissioned collection but was
inspired to try something different. “By this
time the young ladies where at such ease,
they became putty in my hands,” says Kelly.
This image was the artist’s favorite. Created
in-studio with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II camera
at f/13 for 1/125 second, ISO 100.
