The first item is Ex Hugh Wynn: illustrated in "The 1907 Emergency Printings of NSW Postage Stamps" at page 80.{Page 42.1} 750 T 217 CD 218 C A 219 C A- 220 C B 221 CO B 222 C 223 PS A- Ex Lot 217 Lot 218 1910-23 group with Victorian Design Postage Dues including 1910 local Victorian cover forwarded to NSW with Thick Paper 1d, 1910 underpaid US 2c Envelope with Thick Paper 3d, similar 1916 item with Thin Paper 3d, 1919 stampless cover with Thin Paper 1d & 2d, 1921 underpaid US cover to Sweden redirected to Sydney with Thin Paper 1d strip of 3, 1923 OHMS piece with Thick Paper 6d x10, etc, condition variable.{Page 42.2} (15 items) 1911 local printed matter rate cover with Victorian Bantam ½d tied by scarce 'MELBOURNE/* 2 *' machine cancel, forwarded to Launceston with superb strike of the rare 'T½D' h/s, again redirected with Blank Tablet ½d BW #D1 (SG D1) tied by Hobart cds. [The ½d is very scarce on cover, and is rare as a solo franking]{Page 42.3} 1921 cover endorsed "Dept of Agric/Barbados" with Barbados Victory 1d only tied by GPO cds, to "Dept of Agriculture/ Sydney", Perf 14 1d pair tied by Sydney GPO cds.{Page 36.3} 1922 (Nov 14) cover from Russia with Imperf 200r 250r & 300r tied to the reverse by Cyrillic cds of Kharkiv (Ukraine), taxed "100c" because the stamps were de-monetised in the previous month, to Sydney where Postage Due 2d x4 tied by 'DELIVERY ROOM/GPO SYDNEY' cds, opened-out for display. [Between 1/1/1922 & 28/2/1925, 1d = 12½ gold centimes so 100c = 8d]{Page 36.4} 1923 GB cover (230x153mm) to "Lambrigg/Tharwa" with 1½d only tied by 'SHEPPERTON/MIDDX' cds, British 'MORE TO PAY/2D' & 'T/20/ L ' handstamps, Postage Due 1d pair tied by ' K /NSW' relief cds used at Tharwa, a bit soiled & minor faults. [Lambrigg is an historic homestead within the Australian Capital Territory. Usage of NSW reliefs within the then FCT was standard practice but examples are rare. The cover contains an attractive watercolour portrait. It was probably intended to be sent as printed matter but was not endorsed to that effect] 1923-34 covers with Third Watermark Postage Dues including 1923 & 1924 PPCs from GB each with ½d & 1d for minimal fee, 1930 with boxed 'LOOSE SHIP LETTER' cancel & 'T 1D/LATE FEE' h/s of Melbourne, 1925 & 1930 with invalid revenue stamps each with 3d affixed, 1930 WA airmail cover with 3d single & block of 4, etc, condition variable.{Page 43.1} (14 items) 1928 USA 2c Envelope with University of Idaho imprint at upper-left, large 5-line Insufficiently Prepaid cachet in purple & 'CENTIMES/30/T' h/s, 'MOSCOW IDAHO' machine cancel, on arrival endorsed "T3½" in blue and Postage Due ½d & 3d tied by Sydney cds.
