Franklin with KGV 4d orange tied by Hobart cds. [The rate was 1d per 2oz so the package weighed between 6 &

1930 commercial usage of Amalgamated Wireless Australasia (AWA) envelope to London with oval 'RADIO
STATION/30OCT1930/LORD HOWE ISLAND' cachet in violet at lower-left, Sturt 1½d endorsed "2d/Paid/PM/LHI" &
tied by 'LORD HOWE ISLAND/300C/1930/NSW' cds, minor blemishes. RPSofV Certificate (2013) states "it is
genuine, correctly rated & the stamp belongs". By far the best usage of the famous Lord Howe Island Provisional
that we have offered, and the only example we have seen of the cachet, making this an outstanding item for any
