Proxer 5<br />
RFID proximity card reader<br />
The Proxer 5 is a Proximity reader, which is<br />
able to read RFID cards and transponders.<br />
There are 6 different datacommunication<br />
models are available: RS232, RS485,<br />
Ethernet, Keyboard interface, Radio, TTL.<br />
The Proxer 5 Proximity card reader provides secure<br />
and simple permission authorization. Applicable for<br />
computers and other equipments where need to be<br />
secure protection or cost restriction.<br />
Operation:<br />
Placing the chipcard near to the reader, the device<br />
reads the code, beeps, and turns on the LED shows<br />
the presence of the card. The reader stores the read<br />
cardcode with its timestamp.<br />
If we take the card away, this event will be stored on<br />
the same way.<br />
If we run the Proxer 5 service programme modul, that<br />
polls the reader with encrypted communication and<br />
returns the decoded card code, or "0000", if there is<br />
no card. Out of this the programmer can decide whether he allows or not the request.<br />
Technical specifications:<br />
The antenna and the electronics are built on 1,6 mm thick, multilayered, borehole galvanized PCB with SMD<br />
technology using the modern microelectronics elements.<br />
The dimensions and consumption of the panel is make possible the integration into small size portable<br />
systems. The panel has positioning, fixer boreholes and fixing equipment kit as well. For the connection<br />
there is screwed wire clip and/or flat cable.<br />
