Music is a way of reaching to our deepest
beliefs and feelings and giving them our
highest expression - those meaningful
thoughts for which words alone may
not be enough. This program focuses on
academic courses in music theory and
history, the formation of musicianship,
the development of performance skills
on particular instruments or voice, and
the ability to perform in ensembles at a
high level of excellence. Developing skills
in these areas will enable you to excel at
performance or teaching, go on to conduct
musical ensembles and choirs or pursue
further music studies.
Bachelor of Social Work – Joint Program between Providence University College &
Booth University College (2+2 yrs.)
A Bachelor of Social Work will prepare
you for a career of working with people
through churches and a wide variety of
social agencies and organizations. Social
workers find employment assisting many
segments of our society. This program of
study allows students to enjoy the benefits
of two campuses during one program of
study. Students spend the first two years
of the program at Providence University
College, and the third and fourth years at
Booth University College in Winnipeg.

This program will provide you practical
and experiential training while providing
a strong academic foundation in language
learning theory and teaching methodology.
It equips those who wish to meet the large
and growing need in North America and
around the world for English Teachers.
Both the major and minor incorporate the
TESOL certificate. Providence graduates
are employed in over 60 countries including
China, Japan, Ukraine, Korea, Tunisia,
Myanmar, Yemen, Bangladesh, and Brazil.
The Providence TESOL program is fully
accredited by TESL Canada.
